Renovation, maintenance and decoration of Museum buildings
Over the last year we have carried out a number of renovation projects to the Chiltern Open Air Museums listed and ancient buildings near Chalfont St. Peter. Our first project was to renovate a large corrugated tin roof with GRP to make sure it was fully weather tight. The second project, Astleham Cottage was to strip the roof and re tile entirely, improving the detailing to the gables, verges, dormers and to improve insulation quality to the eaves. The project took 3 – 4 weeks to complete and was carried out in the summer months to try and avoid any disruptive weather. Our latest project was to revive the “Friends of Museum” shop with some general maintenance and repairs and a full external redecoration.
